Milk Hub 2.0 reimagines the abandoned Borden Condensed Milk Factory in Wallkill, NY, as a prototype for a sustainable plant-based dairy industry and a catalyst for inclusive rural revitalization. Addressing challenges faced by immigrant farmworkers—legal status, cultural barriers, labor intensity, and social marginalization—the design integrates production with community services. Industry and public zones interweave through bridges and shared alleys, while lightweight canopies preserve heritage, transforming a fading relic into a landmark of social and environmental renewal.
