The Rising Ark imagines a self-sustaining, modular high-rise replacing traditional urban planning in Tai Kok Tsui by the year 3000. As worsening conditions render ground infrastructure obsolete, it proposes a vertical ecosystem where living, services, and mobility converge in a flexible structure. Inspired by Blade Runner, Gundam, and Metabolist architecture, the Ark functions as an adaptive organism. Prefabricated units plug into a central spine, fostering evolution, diversity, and resilience while redefining the boundary between public and private space in a post-ground urban life.
