Slices of Time is a community center that fosters natural interaction between elders and youth, addressing the need for intergenerational connection through spatial design. A central staircase slows movement and invites pause, reflection, and interaction. Interwoven stairs, platforms, and slopes form a sequence of rest points—for play, conversation, or quiet retreat. These daily pauses accumulate into meaningful slices of time, where emotions gently take root. This is not just a functional space, but a starting point for shared presence, empathy, and intergenerational living.
