This project delves into the cultural heritage and reuse of oyster shell walls in Guangzhou, focusing on their integration into traditional crafts. Through studying the history, physical properties, and design of oyster shell walls, we aim to highlight their ecological and cultural value. By mapping existing oyster shell walls and exploring their role in artisanal work, the project promotes a sustainable revival of this unique material in craftsmanship, preserving both tradition and environmental consciousness.
