This project is for a mature couple in search of a serene and welcoming space. The apartment is a blend of warmth and elegance, using wood to symbolise maturity and marble to add energy. The strategic use of materials creates a harmonious, elegant home that reflects the couple's life stage. Lighting is a key design element that manages material transitions and room geometries. In the living area, the light descends as marble inlaid in wood, creating a harmonious succession. The staircase, central and sculptural, integrates different materials and connects the residential levels.
