The Liuzhou Jinglan Masterplan and Landscape project creates a new typology for urban water-centric and nature-based developments. Health, recreation, and livability are fundamental to the development's design and urban framework in cultivating a Recreational Business District. A new man-made lake was created as the development focal point in conjunction with an existing Karst formation to preserve and enhance the dynamics between Nature in the design. The landscape creates 3 distinct themed areas: Jinglan Community Lakefront zone, Sports + Ecology zone, and Creative Innovation zone.
