The interventions for this three-flat project was fairly surgical in nature to preserve many of the building’s original elements. The existing woodwork was meticulously revitalized and even recreated to blend in seamless as we reworked the floor plan for modern day living. The result is an illustration of the convergence of the past and present through the juxtaposition of modern millwork and the client’s minimal furnishings with the ornate details from the home. The project is a fully modernized historical home ready for another millennia of supporting the life inside.
