We extracted color samples from local climate characteristics，mountains, river, ocean, soil and vegetation, summarized the color characteristics of traditional buildings and local color preferences in Guangzhou, and extracted the recommended urban color spectrum with "A Sun-shining Gouache Color" specially belonging to Guangzhou. We applied the sunshine-feeling colors spectrum to urban spaces color design, not only included the architectural color design of historical blocks, riverside belt and arcade street, but also the color design of roads and bridges and subway signage systems.
