The Ohana Floor offers uninterrupted views of central Tokyo and the Imperial Gardens. A traditional Japanese house and garden is strategically placed in the heart of the space and is surrounded by native trees, low-lying vegetation, and a reflecting pool. Defining features of the home include an engawa (porch) that encircles the house, with hinoki-framed glass panels that emulate shoji screens and connect the space to the local culture. These sliding glass panels allow for a variety of spatial configurations to accommodate everything from private meetings to stage performances.
