Media Center is located in Meishan City, Sichuan Province, China. Meishan is the hometown of the Song Dynasty poet Su Dongpo (A.D. 960-1127) ,which is known as the "City of Poetry and Books for Thousands of Years". This project includes three important cultural facilities: a cultural center, a library, and Television Station, as well as offices for multiple cultural enterprises. Due to the fact that the site is a slope with a height difference of 19 meters, the design borrows the method of stacking poetry and books, echoing the urban image of "Meishan Millennium City of Poetry and Books".
