Inspired by Xiamen’s reputation as a subtropical “garden on the sea,” the TikTok / ByteDance Xiamen Headquarters reimagines the campus as a living forest woven with culture and music. A central Music Wave Boulevard and Music Wave Valley link shaded gardens, amphitheaters, terraces, and rooftops, offering stages for performance, dining, and gathering. Extending Xiamen’s lively night-market tradition, the campus landscape extends into the public realm as a sequence of landscape rooms and blurs the boundary between corporate and civic life while converging nature, music, and technology.
