The Shepherd Art Park creates a place for community, art and play in a historically dilapidated Detroit neighborhood. The park offers year-round accessible programming for all ages and abilities. Nestled in a series of outdoor rooms, a Tony Hawk-designed skate park, sculpture galleries, an event lawn, and the Father Forgive Me outdoor dining area activate the park, inviting both planned and spontaneous interactions. Winding pathways create direct connections to the surrounding neighborhood, inviting visitors to explore a diversity of experiences, sparking curiosity and discovery.
