The Nest House is a bold green response to Vietnam’s monotonous urban architecture. On a standard plot, we broke from the rigid “box” style by lifting the main house above a lush, layered garden, creating the feeling of a suspended Nest. Columns evoke tree trunks, fostering open space, natural airflow, and full integration with nature. Using rustic, sustainable materials inspired by Hoi An, this oasis maximizes greenery on a narrow lot, improves the microclimate, and reconnects family life with nature in the city core.
