The Southeast Wyoming Welcome Center, just south of Cheyenne, is a striking glass and steel structure designed by Anderson Mason Dale Architects. Completed in 2012, it serves as a landmark of modern and sustainable design. Rammed earth walls, building-integrated photovoltaics, wind turbines, and a geothermal system reduce energy use, while daylight harvesting and wetlands enhance efficiency and ecological performance. Its form and features reflect Wyoming’s landscape and commitment to sustainability.
