Concrete Helix explores the sculptural ramp of the ICC Berlin parking deck, designed 1973-79 by Ralf Schüler & Ursulina Schüler-Witte. Shot in 2024, the sequence follows the spiral from daylight into its shaded core, tracing formwork scars, chipped edges and the silent patina of 50 years of use. By isolating curve, rhythm and void, the images reframe Brutalist infrastructure as a kinetic sculpture, inviting the viewer to walk the loop with their eyes.
