GKC designed a carbon-neutral industrial building, certified as a Zero-Carbon Building by the Canadian Green Building Council, that reconciles sustainability with functionality. The holistic concept integrates green roofs and walls, photovoltaic panels, landscaped ponds, communal gardens, permeable paving, and buffer zones with trees and an artistic mural. High-efficiency insulated panels and a dual-energy system reduce emissions, while architectural façade lighting enhances identity. An attractive, forward-looking model for sustainable industrial architecture.
