Designed by Japanese architect Hiroyuki Wakabayashi, the Uji Station in Japan is a quiet brutalist gem. Circular arches and voids invite shifting light that casts ephemeral patterns across bare concrete. More than transit, the station is a vessel for impermanence and beauty - passengers move through geometrically framed light just like the passing of time but elegantly.
