Located at the main entrance of Universidad Industrial de Santander’s central campus in Bucaramanga, the Humanities Building follows the master plan through linear architectural concrete elements. Two ground levels extend the public space, creating open community areas and a topography for the astronomical observatory visitor center. Offset ochre concrete slabs provide solar protection, ventilation, and views. Flexible interiors are supported by two rigid cores, while rainwater harvesting, photovoltaic panels, waste recovery, natural lighting, and permeable areas reduce environmental impact.
