Agriculture Circulation – A New Typology for Tenant Buildings TOMIGAYA TERRACE is a multi-tenant building in Shibuya, Tokyo, with shops, clinics, and offices. Herb garden terraces on the west side of each floor form an agricultural cycle. The system uses sunlight through plant selection, attracts birds and butterflies for pollination, collects rainwater for irrigation, and incorporates local Shibuya soil into interior walls.Users grow, harvest, compost leaves, and engage with seasonal change. By integrating terraces into rentable floor area, the project creates new value for tenant buildings.
