At MUDEC in Milan, David Chipperfield’s central hall is defined by a series of elegant, curved surfaces that shape light and movement within the space. Photographed during The Moment the Snow Melts by Chiharu Shiota, the installation introduced a suspended, delicate presence that engaged directly with the architecture. The work traced the volume of the hall, intensifying its spatial continuity and drawing visitors’ attention upward. Installation and architecture entered into a quiet dialogue, each heightening the perception of the other.
