This series captures the KAIT Plaza in Kanagawa, Japan. Through a wide and thin columnless canopy, light arrives in fragments where shadows give it meaning. A solitary man meditates at the boundaries of opposite yet complementary spaces, where frames are framed within frames. The delicate balance of presence and absence, and the dynamic changing light conditions in this Japanese architecture echoes the idea of Yin & Yang in eastern philosophy.
