Commissioned by Next Step Group, this series of photos captures Wendelstrand in Mölnlycke, Sweden—an old quarry transformed by Snøhetta into a sustainable neighborhood. Its landmark Lakehouse serves as a communal hub with a restaurant, gym, and coworking spaces, featuring a stunning architectural crescendo as the majestic roofscape. Shot in dramatic -15°C conditions, the serene winter snowscape and pristine lake backdrop perfectly frame this eco-friendly architectural vision, showcasing how this innovative Nordic building design beautifully harmonizes with the surrounding natural environments.
