Fogo Island Inn, Newfoundland, Canada - Designed by Todd Saunders

Fogo Island Inn, Newfoundland, Canada, designed by Todd Saunders — This commissioned project unfolded over several years, taking me repeatedly to remote Fogo Island, known as one of the four corners of the earth and “far away from far away.” Across the seasons, I photographed the Inn perched on a rocky shore overlooking the North Atlantic. Changing weather and light revealed the shifting moods of the island, and the Inn’s deep connection to its place, the rugged landscape, cultural traditions, and spirit of the island.
