Located at the gateway of the Laurentides Wildlife Reserve, Camp Mercier redefines this iconic cross-country ski destination through an eco-responsible approach rooted in Québec’s architectural culture. Conceived in wood and inspired by historic logging camps, the single-storey building integrates seamlessly with the landscape, with its low-pitched roofs and dark vertical spruce cladding, subtly modulating light and shadow. Carefully oriented openings, a sheltered outdoor living area, and vegetated embankments connect interior and nature, offering a sustainable, year-round visitor experience.
