PILLS was invited to design the exhibition space for "Wu Jian'an: The huge sand dunes are the bed of the sea," a large-scale solo exhibition at the Silk Road International Art Exchange Center. Instead of treating the gallery as a neutral container, the project transforms a 1,000m² exhibition hall into a surreal landscape of dunes, mirrors, black water, and moving light. Through topography, reflection, and changing illumination, the exhibition becomes a continuous spatial narrative where architecture and artworks together construct a dreamlike journey across myth, memory, and time.
