The "Welcome Point" Pavilion of the University of Warsaw is located in the historic heart of Warsaw, serving as a backdrop to surrounding palaces and a church. The building is a contemporary complement to the historic composition of the courtyard. Its simple, two-story form with a hipped roof organizes the space and reinforces the existing visual axes. The design was inspired by the carriage house that once stood on this site. Tall window openings recall the shape of the original gates. Today, Welcome Point serves as an intimate space for gatherings of the academic community.
