Des Pins

In Montréal’s Milton-Parc neighbourhood, Project des Pins transforms a former 1930s college into a loft where the memory of the place remains palpable. Occupying the former auditorium, the intervention is shaped by its distinctive volume. The entrance is deliberately compressed by a narrow corridor and a mirrored wall, heightening the reveal of the light-filled communal spaces and their generous proportions. At the heart of the project, the kitchen becomes a gathering place, where stainless steel and natural stone strike a balance between functional precision and understated refinement.
