Hapjeong Artplex

Stepping away from Seoul’s conventional commercial architecture focused on net area and facade differentiation, this project pairs a refined mass filtering surrounding visual noise with organic vertical voids. By seamlessly weaving the boundaries of mass and void, ground and underground, inside and outside, spaces permeate one another to expand the experiential depth. Rather than merely serving strictly programmatic functions, these layered voids flexibly host everyday life and spontaneous events, building a vibrant locus where diverse actions and memories overlap to redefine commercial space.
