Xiazhu Lake Shenghua Resort Phase II, Deqing

The project is located in the core area of the Xiazhu Lake National Wetland Park. Leveraging its unique location—"embraced by dual waterways with direct views of the wetland"—the design resolves the conflict between human construction and nature through the wisdom of "ecological retreat." The buildings are set back as a whole, creating a 30–50-meter soft buffer zone along the wetland boundary. The roof is covered with soil and planted with native moisture-tolerant herbs, seamlessly blending with the shoreline vegetation to form a multi-layered ecological greening system.
