The Bethesda Residence, located in a quiet suburban neighborhood just minutes from downtown Bethesda, reimagines suburban living through a modern balance of privacy, light, indoor/outdoor connections, and material durability. The home prioritizes openness without sacrificing discretion. At the center of the home, a three-story faceted light well draws daylight deep into the interior. This vertical volume functions as both an organizational and experiential element- bringing light into the core of the house while animating circulation and social spaces.
