Kupuri House

Casa Kupuri, in Punta Mita, Mexico, integrates with its sloped site and tropical climate through cross-ventilation, resilient materials, and a continuous relationship with the landscape. A pigmented concrete base anchors and organizes the program, while planted terraces soften the volume along the terrain. Above, a pitched timber-and-tile roof reinterprets coastal traditions, improving thermal comfort and lightness. A linear skylight brings shifting daylight inside, while large openings dissolve indoor-outdoor boundaries amid abundant native vegetation.
