MATE is located in southern Guadalajara as a countryside residence where geometry and privacy shape the architectural concept. A central walled garden and connecting corridor organize the orthogonal volumes, linking interior spaces with courtyards, terraces, and carefully framed views. The restrained material palette—polished concrete, wood, marble, and granite—emphasizes the purity of the volumes. Existing vegetation was preserved and complemented with reclaimed tree roots transformed into sculptural landscape elements, reinforcing the relationship between architecture, landscape, and site.
