Atelier Šebo Lichý Architects, in collaboration with GRAU, is behind the reconstruction of Zotavovňa Morava in Tatranská Lomnica, Bohuslav Fuchs’s iconic Functionalist building from 1933. The project respects its history while moving it forward. The aim was to restore the genius loci of this symbol of Tatra recreation, revive the historical and social value of its period Functionalist architecture, and at the same time elevate it to the standards of a contemporary hotel stay. The reconstruction restores the original geometry of the façades, the social and dining spaces, and the terraces.
