INTER-TIME transforms Chungbuk Educational Library, built in the 1980s, into a shared place for learning across generations. The concrete frame and granite façade remain, while selective slab openings draw daylight into the deep plan. An accessible ramp becomes a public interior for walking, pausing and reading. Color, light and pocket spaces let children and teenagers choose their own paths and places. Old and new, shifting light and different generations retain their own rhythms, like voices in polyphony, shaping the library’s sense of time and atmosphere.
