Heart Beat Moment

In Guangzhou's old town,two bamboo-tube houses sharing three walls were trapped in darkness,dampness,and isolation.INSPIRATION Team transformed them into an all-age-friendly shared community. Original columns and beams were preserved,while new spaces emerged: a mezzanine, a traditional Chinese medicine,and a corner café. A multi-use staircase,a shared long table,flexible routes,and lightweight steel replacing decayed timber connect past and present. Beyond restoration, the project revitalizes the social fabric,inviting all ages to reconnect and build community through shared living.
