Located in a 210 m² duplex converted from a former Parisian printing workshop, CITÉ reveals the latent qualities of the existing architecture through a restrained intervention. By restoring the original rooflights, preserving the steel structure and concentrating permanent functions within oak-clad volumes, the project liberates a central void filled with daylight. Rather than prescribing use, the architecture creates an open, adaptable framework for everyday living.
