This is an apartment located in the core conservation area of Shanghai's historical district. Taking the pattern of Tsui Ling Long (Emerald Delicacy) from classical Chinese gardens as the prototype, the design connects the corners of multiple square spaces, creating a spatial experience akin to "strolling through a garden". The door and window openings are elaborately designed and controlled to form successive views and framed scenes, integrating the outdoor shadows of phoenix trees into the flowing interior space as an organic part.
