Positioned as a contemporary TCM clinic, Jiyuntang breaks traditional stereotypes. The design uses a natural modern base layer—white plaster walls with botanical fragments, travertine, and oak—to evoke TCM's essence. Within a limited budget, a lightweight "beam-column installation" made of 40mm galvanized square tubes, assembled using traditional Sunmao joinery, spatially restructures the interior. The deep crimson frame introduces rhythm and cultural resonance, successfully bridging tradition and modernity to create a perceptible contemporary space.
