Home is a sanctuary— Wu Bin draws from China's reclusive literati tradition and explores how contemporary living can reconnect with the philosophical essence of traditional Eastern retreat culture. The design seeks to dissolve boundaries between dwelling and landscape, allowing the inhabitant to feel immersed within nature. Materiality plays a central role in shaping this atmosphere. Egret limestone pavés create a serene white interior landscape, while stratified stone walls evoke layered mountain peaks. Steam, forest, and distant mountains merge into a meditative landscape.
