La Maison Noire is not a house - it is a sanctuary designed for slowing down. Conceived as the personal residence of PASTELLA | BURNS, the estate combines contemporary architecture with restored eighteenth - century stone buildings to create a sequence of experiences rather than rooms. Wellness, nature, craftsmanship, and silence replace excess. Every material - from flamed basalt and Maquina Nero marble to Hinoki Cypress - was selected to heighten the senses. The result is an immersive retreat where architecture quietly reconnects people with time, place, and themselves.
