The project transforms the Taipei Fine Arts Museum's sun-baked plaza into a vibrant public realm. Responding to intense summer heat, the design gently "lifts" the ground via a column-free steel and suspension cable structure, creating a breathable, shaded canopy without altering the existing pavement. The roof pixelates historical satellite images into serpentine stone patterns, while gradient mirrored undersides reflect activity and nature. This shifts the space from a transit corridor into a sensory-rich resting environment where people and architecture seamlessly intertwine.
