Kentville Station Study Model
This project reimagines underused railway infrastructure in Nova Scotia to strengthen public space, agricultural connectivity, and equity between urban and rural communities. Through passenger-focused transportation hubs, it proposes a multifunctional rail network that supports mobility, community programming, and local food distribution. By reactivating the historic Annapolis Valley corridor, each hybrid hub integrates transit, mobile markets, and traveling libraries to foster resilient rural development, regional food security, and renewed civic engagement.
