READING IN RUINS-SKY LIBRARY

The project reimagines the ruins as a civic library, regenerating architecture through transformation rather than replacement. Existing walls, window voids, and openings are reinterpreted as thresholds that frame views, guide circulation, and shape the reading experience. The adaptive reuse extends both the life of the architecture and the continuity of knowledge. A new roofscape echoes the fragmented silhouette of the ruins, transforming the site into a renewed civic landscape where reading unfolds between memory and imagination.
