‘Indevelopment’ a proposed University Experimental Research Centre in Bourke investigates the intersection of low-carbon construction, regional manufacturing, and the revitalisation of rural town centres. Conceived as both a productive and pedagogical institution, the centre focuses on the research, development, and fabrication of CLT and hemp-based wall cassette systems, offering scalable, affordable, and low-embodied carbon alternatives to conventional construction in regional New South Wales.
