Collective Whole is a healthcare and wellness complex in Yio Chu Kang, Singapore, proposing a new healthcare typology that combines preventive care with civic life. By lifting the ring that organizes the hospital, sports, rehabilitation, food market, and nature as one collective whole, it challenges the hospital as a place to visit only during illness. The circular form creates a moment of exception within urban fabric. Its permeable ground and central therapeutic forest support movement, recovery, and social connection, responding to aging through both longer and higher-quality living.
