This project rehabilitates and extends a 1938 single-family house, preserving its identity while adapting it to contemporary living. The design respects the existing granite walls, traditional rooflines, and wooden frames, while introducing a new rear volume, annex, porch, and pool. Interiors were redesigned to transform a T2 into a T5, balancing heritage with modern comfort, spaces now flow more openly, connecting to a private garden shielded from the public gaze. The challenge was uniting past and present to create a timeless and functional home, rooted in memory yet open to the future.
