Conference House Park Pavilion is a unique gathering place looking out upon Raritan Bay. Composed of yellow cedar and polycarbonate gutters, the Pavilion’s roof features an intentionally limited palette. It is an effortless, simple form—each beam has a common elevation on the north side but is rotated about that point to create a dynamic shape that reads differently as one moves through the space. Reusing the existing pile structure from the demolished pavilion it replaced, the Conference House Park Pavilion is a testament to the power of public, sustainable architecture to inspire.
