Themed with seeking butterflies in the forest in the city, the project is located in Yongkang, China, which is well known for its unique water charm of Jiangnan and splendid folk culture. MEDG highlights the city’s heritage of the Eighteen Butterflies, which is a traditional local dance. Every space is treated as art and refined into a script in the landscape design.At the entrance, a sequence of characteristic landscapes is created to increase visibility, a viewing interface is built in the atrium, and the backyard is planted with characteristic plants to create a natural forest landscape.
