The new sports hall is located on the outskirts of the Prishtina city center. A large public plaza is created between the sports hall and the existing bus station. It represents a gathering space that continues up and around the hall onto the roof, where it merges into a multipurpose park space. The envelope of the building is designed as a double helix that is stretched upwards to create a series of spiraling ramps. Public space flows around the building and is connected to the large plaza below.
