A true beach house in every sense of the word, green-tinged turquoise was used throughout for a watery feel, with extra light brought in through indoor glass walls, and an energy efficiency unmatched by a new build ensured. The latter, which was no easy feat given the location of the house so close to the water, was achieved through the use of ecological, naturally insulating materials, hydraulic wall and underfloor heating, photovoltaic panels, and reinforced glass to guarantee that the rays reflecting off the water don’t overheat the home within.
